Max

Who knew Max (Grandma and Grandpa Bradshaw's Dog) was so hilarious? He loves going out to the farm because he gets to see cows, Max, and Grayson(the kitty). I think Grayson is about at the end of his rope when it comes to tolerating Logan...I'm hoping Logan never actually catches Grayson...I feel like it will get ugly..ha!

Busy Little Man!

Logan has been busier than usual lately...With three new teeth poking through and a LOT of things to explore insides, and now OUTSIDE this kid barely has a free moment to suck his thumb! But he does find the time...the baby that once fought sleep to no end will now take breaks from playing by laying on the ground with this snuggie and thumb in his mouth...tooooo cute:)
He loved walking up and down the driveway in his little Jeep! His shades kill me...
He actually kept his flippies on for quite a while....they looked so cute on his chubby little toes

He is getting a little more used to grass...buuutt sometimes he is still not a huge fan. Like is this picture where he is bear crawling so his legs don't have to touch it!

Stuck! Maybe next time you will listen to your Mommy when she tells you not to try to crawl betwttn the side table and couch!

I guess this is one way to play with your tunnel!

Mommy's Little Stuntman

Logan is LOVING how low the windows are in the new house! Whenever the next door neighbors dog barks he crawls right on up and searches...He thinks he is hearing Grandma's dog, Jack!

He's also started taking advantage (more than before) of the time he has when Mommy's back is turned. Here I ran to answer my phone and when I came back I saw Logan "helping" me load the dishwasher....about a week later while I was making little man a bottle I found out that he is reeeeeally good at climbimg stairs...he was about two steps away from the top. I did not mangae to snap a picture of that one because I was having a minor heart attack! Needless to say we have baby proofed the house! Maybe all of this extra room to roam has given Logan an extra dose of courage...like he needed one!He fools you with this sweet, smushy, baby face!

Logan was confused when I was blow drying my hair while he bathed....He made this face the whole time and grunted when I pointed the hair dryer at his headCrazy baby hair!

Look at those two big teef! Two more just broke through on top! You'd think it would have been his two front teeth but it's a front tooth and eye tooth next to it...akward, my little man is going to look like a snaggle for a while! HAHA!

Trying Out the Walker

Since Logan is now a "Cruiser" (he holds onto things and walks along them) I have tried to get him interested in a car that his Grandparents got him that can be converted into a walker type tingamajig....As you can see here he is more interested in anything that is in my hands, in this case the camera, than he is in the walker! Since he can walk forward with this thing one would think he would be able to do the same the little Jeep walker that he can sit in but...he just scoots himself backwards reeeeeal fast! haha Oh and I recorded this sideways so youll just have to tilt your head:)

Nobody Told Me....

Laura (I finally figured out how to make a link, go me!) tagged me to post a few things that nobody ever told me about Motherhood, so here it is.

Nobody ever told me that what I was bringing home from the hospital was not a precious baby boy, but a poop machine!

Nobody ever told me that babies can make a mess out of anything....ANYTHING, seriously give Logan a block and a rattle...and leave the room...you'll see what I mean.

Nobody ever told me that once your child learns to crawl you will acquire another shadow.

Nobody ever told me that Logan would actually be able to sense when I was sitting down for a meal and would, at that moment, need something, anything, so terribly that he would not be able to stop screaming until I delivered....and my meal was cold.

Nobody ever told me that between 5 and 6 months your child's reach increases from about 12 inches to 10 feet....And anything in that area will be knocked over and then gnawed on!

I'd heard that toddlers sometimes revert back to infantile behavior when a baby is born to get more attention, but Nobody ever told me that this sometimes happens to grown men;)
Nobody ever told me that sharp corners and hard surfaces contain a magnetic force that actually draws baby heads to them!
Nobody ever told me that the poop, the messes, the poopy messes, the broken stuff, and all of the cold lean cuisines(yuck) wouldn't bother me after Logan gives me a big drooly smooch! (Another thing nobody ever told me about)
And I tag....Brooke!

Is My Baby a Tween?

If not, he has definately adopted the attitued of one! He just wants me to leave him alone to chew on twist ties, pull on lamp cords, and shake things off of tables! Every time I have removed him from one of these situations he grunts and yells "MAMAMAMAMAMA" at me! I don't think so mister....I think we need to get this move over, it's throwing us all out of whack!

When will he start understanding the meaning of the word "No?" Does he understand it now and it just messing with me? If so he does a pretty good impression of a confused baby when I'm yelling "Noooooo!! Don't put your finger in there!!" (When he discovered the only outlet left in the house without a baby safety cover)

Our days of sitting things on the coffee table (like coffee) are over. He is getting smart and starting to take a few steps around the coffee table so his reach is expanding. While I don't think walking is in the immediate future, standing may be and I am not ready for that...I swear the say I put my baby down and he stands instead of sitting this Mommy will be a wreck...because he won't be a baby anymore! When do they officially turn into toddlers?

7 Months

A lot has happened since Logan turned 7 months....like, he got his own cell phone! (His Daddy's old one)
And he's been standing up on everything and even starting to walk around the coffee table a little bit!

AND this is the last time you will see Logan with his baby hair! He got his first hair cut last week but the pictures are on Kathy's phone so I will have to catch you up on that when she uploads them! (The two pictures abover show the new do though!)

We had our first day out in the sun and did suprisingly well with our sunglasses!

Ha-Ha could he been anymore dorky!? What a sweet little man...
