4 months

Lynley had her 4 month appointment this month...cant believe how big this girl is getting! She was in the 25th percentile for weight and 50th percentile for height.

Miss Mae does not seem to be too worried about rolling over but will do it every now and then. She is much more content in her bumbo where she can keep an eye on her big brother!

Oooh....Miss Mae likes her sweet little boots!

Sweet little baby legs w. Bandaids...shots were a little rough. We got through the first one with no tears but Lyn let everyone know she wasn't happy about number 2 and 3. Chad and Logan were in the waiting room and said they heard her wailing...after a minute she calmed down but was still giving her nurse he side eye.

Hunting Season

Since bow hunting season has officially started Chad thought it would be a good idea to dust off the ol' bow and do a little practice shooting. The fact that he was not out in a tree stand this WHOLE weekend is just unbelievable because hunting is Chad's REAL wife in the fall/winter. I guess the whole two kids/wife/crazy job thing is starting to get in the way of his hobbies. Anyway, here are two super cute boys....

Good thing I kinda like this boys Daddy because I think we have a mini-Chad in the works.

There is no stronger bond than that between a boy and his power wheels, it's science.

I got you a flower, Mama! Thanks, Log....you're the sweetest:)
He told me, "You better put it in you pocket so the wind doesn't get it's pretties!" Good thinkin'!

First Day of Pre School

Log started pre school on September 7th. He was more than ready to go...I guess hanging out with Mommy all day was getting bor-ing!

Sweet Backpack! (or packpack as Log would say it)

Rader's Family Farm

Catching some major hang time.

Apparently there were some reckless kids climbing on the hay fort because we heard Logan setting them straight, "Hey kid! You be careful around me!"

Chad was really into teaching Log how to lasso....

I just wanted him to look straight ahead @ the camera. My goals are way more realistic....or so you'd think.

The sweetest little girl around.

Hare Scramble

This summer Chad decided to take up racing four wheelers....he did 4 races but between a newborn and being sick I only made it to the fourth and final. The hare scramble is like a trail race so it's not really spectator friendly. There were only a few points on the trail where we could actually see the riders. The trail is 7 miles long and goes through heavy woods, big hills, and streams and such...the idea is to make it around the trail as many times as you can in an hour and a half. Talk about a good workout!

Can we say hillbilly heaven? Everyone @ the race was super nice...brought together through a common love for fast things....

Chad did this race with Kyle and Kyle's little brother, Travis. Travis got first place and Chad got second. Kyle had some....mechanical issues. He broke his tire somehow.

Kyle and Chad at the start line....this was pretty intense. I could tell Chad was about to jump out of his skin because there was so much adrenaline pumping through his veins..

Of course I had to get a picture of Daddy's number one fan!! Logan thinks next year he will be doing hare scrambles right along side his Daddy and if Chad has anything to do with it, he will!
